Autumn/Winter 2008 'Galactic Ballet'

The collection, created with black silks, wool/angora blends, and jersey accented with a leather-like finish, takes its inspiration from the Ballet Russes and Russian ballerinas at the turn of the 20th century. The gold and silver lace detailing, as well as embroidery in Swarovsky crystal, all based on Russian tradition, bring these ideas to the forefront. Galactic Ballet was presented during Rome fashion week (www.altaroma.it) January 2008.
