'Fenech 5'

The fall/winter '09 collection is inspired by Edwige Fenech, a 1970's film star famous for her roles in the 'erotic comedy' genre of italian cinema. The designer presents a series of bold silhouettes inspired by the chic and elegant style of the actress in her portrayal of Francesca Marani in the film 'Cattivi Pensieri'

These complete looks are a revisitation of not only the fashion sense but also the intense feminine sensuality that emanates from the female lead (expressed in the texture and cut of the materials). Something so strong that it could evoke a feverish jealousy similar to the paranoid fantasies of Fenech's character's husband in the film. From this comes the collection's title
'Fenech 5'.

The look book is comprised of eleven images most of which are complete outfits that are then shed of their outer layers to reveal unexpected intimate loungewear pieces. Each garment is constructed using a mixture of technical materials and precious high-end fabrics all sourced from innovative mills in northern Italy. All pieces are delicately hand made in Italy.
